From Centre d’Art La Rectoria, we are pleased to offer the Summer Intensive Courses. Is now open registration period.

Intensive Summer Activities Recognised as Continuing Education by the Education Department of the Generalitat of Catalonia:

Experimental Engraving
Course conducted research in the engraving world and recorded materic chalcographic. Experiments on different media (iron, brass, wood, plastic ...) study of work methods, materials, tools, techniques and editing of Engraving.
Course customized to the level of students. (Material included)

Painting and Drawing
Workshop materials and experimental procedures in the pictorial field. Obtaining knowledge and strategies on choice and development of artistic discourse. Analysis of the processes that organize and order the different stages that make up the creative project.

Ceramics. Mural. Abstraction of Nature
Workshop where, starting with a single sketch, we get a unique project: a mural which will be the final destination of a public wall in the village. Working with mud refractory oxides, carbonates, enamels. Different volumes, high and low relief, various textures. High temperature firing. (Material included)
Dates: July 30 to August 3
Duration: 30 hours, Monday to Thursday from 10 to 14 and 16 to 19pm, Friday from 10 to 12h

Corten steel (URSSA) and Iron Sculpture
Workshop for handling iron and corten steel. Work pieces of sculptures and designs of small and medium format. Learning and improvement of work with plasma welding inverter and continuous thread, bent, twisted ... (Material included)

Duration: 35 hours Monday to Friday from 10 to 14 and 16 to 19h

Moulds and new materials applied to art, design and staging
Workshop on working with silicones, resins,  rigid and elastic foams , latex, the casts, and glass fibers and vegetables. Initiation-improvement. (Material included)
Dates: from 27 to 31 August
Duration: 30 hours, Monday to Friday from 10 to 13h and from 16 to 19h

Rhythm and Movement Workshop
Bodypercution (rhythm with the body) steps stomp movements, beat with the feet, balance and movement. Initiation.
Dates: from 16 to 21 July, 23 to July 28, 6 to 11 August, 20 to 25 and August , 27 August to 1st September
Duration: 15 hours, Monday to Friday from 19:00 to 21:30; Saturday from 10:00 to 12:30h
