El Centre d’Art La Rectoria de Sant Pere de Vilamajor, és una entitat privada sense ànim de lucre que té com a objectiu conciliar les arts, les noves tecnologies i la natura.

És un lloc de residència i de treball per artistes, escriptors i investigadors promogut per l’Associació Centre d’Art La Rectoria.

És una plataforma d’expressió, desenvolupament i pensament de l’art contemporani, amb la voluntat de dinamitzar l’entorn immediat amb la col·laboració dels artistes que resideixen al Centre. Una tasca d’àmbit local, d’intercanvi nacional i dinàmiques internacionals.

El Centre disposa de tallers (forja, gravat, ceràmica, estudi de pintura), sales (sales polivalents) i infraestructures adequades per aquesta finalitat, i de personal qualificat per orientar, per tutoritzar, el treball dels artistes residents. Ofereix, també, espais de treball a l’aire lliure.

Objectius de la beca

Oferir als artistes nacionals i internacionals la possibilitat de realitzar el seu projecte en un ambient privilegiat, contribuint a l'intercanvi cultural i propiciant una projecció internacional.

Persones a qui van dirigides

Pot sol·licitar la beca qualsevol professional o practicant de la creació artística (arts visuals i plàstiques, arts literàries, arts musicals, arts escèniques de petit format i intervencions), de la recerca (investigadors dels àmbits de les ciències naturals i humanes com ara botànica, geologia, biologia, ecologia, història, geografia, antropologia, etc) i de l’estudi.

Característiques

1. La comissió específica del Centre d’Art La Rectoria estudiarà tots els projectes presentats sol·licitant la beca producció. Les beques inclouen residència gratuïta i ús de tallers i espais sota la supervisió dels mestres de taller que proporcionaran, si escau , el suport tècnic necessari. Només en alguns casos, si la comissió específica ho recomana i la direcció del centre ho creu convenient, es podrà dotar algun d’aquests projectes amb un ajut econòmic pel seu desenvolupament.

2. Els beneficiaris, pel sol fet de sol·licitar aquestes beques, es comprometen a acceptar el contingut d’aquesta convocatòria i la seva resolució.

3. No podran ser beneficiaris d’aquesta convocatòria aquells artistes que hagin obtingut alguna beca en la mateixa convocatòria els darrers tres anys.

4. Criteris de valoració:

a. La presentació de tots els documents i materials que demana la convocatòria, en el format sol·licitat i amb l’extensió recomanada.

b. L’adequació del material personal que es presenta a les condicions específiques de la convocatòria.

c. La claredat expositiva de la informació que es presenta per escrit i en suport informàtic.

d. La qualitat del projecte general de l’artista i del projecte específic que es presenta.

e. L’actitud professional de l’artista en la descripció i la defensa del seu projecte, per escrit o, si escau, en una entrevista.

5. Tots els beneficiaris de les beques queden obligats a:

a. Comunicar per escrit l’acceptació de l’ajut en un termini de quinze dies, comptats a partir de la recepció de la notificació de la concessió. En cas que no fos així, s’entendrà que el beneficiari renuncia a la beca, per la qual cosa en perdrà el dret i es podrà concedir la beca al suplent que figuri en primer lloc i així successivament.

b. Realitzar la residència en els termes establerts a la convocatòria.

c. Sol·licitar per escrit a la direcció del Centre d’Art La Rectoria autorització per realitzar qualsevol canvi referent a les dates d’inici i final o a qualsevol altra circumstància relativa al desenvolupament de la beca.

d. Deixar constància de la participació del Centre d’Art La Rectoria en qualsevol mena de comunicació que es realitzi en relació al projecte realitzat mitjançant la “Amb la col·laboració del Centre d’Art La Rectoria”. Caldrà fer constar que el projecte ha estat produït al Centre d’Art La Rectoria i incloure el logotip.

e. Complir amb les normes generals i particulars del Centre

6. En finalitzar la residència, caldrà presentar una memòria completa del treball juntament amb la donació d’una de les obres elaborades durant la residència.

7. Si escau, el Centre d’Art La Rectoria farà públics els resultats dels projectes mitjançant la seva web.

Per a sol·licitar una beca és necessari presentar un projecte per escrit que inclogui:

- Fotocòpia DNI o passaport

- Dossier i currículum del responsable del projecte, no superior a 50 planes.

- Descripció i sinopsi.

- Proposta de calendari de producció del projecte.

- Necessitats tècniques del projecte.

- Contacte del responsable del projecte.

Aquests serveis poden ser sol·licitats durant tot l’any 2011.

Informació complementària

Al Centre d’Art La Rectoria trobareu espais de treball, autonomia en el propi ritme diari i bon ambient per a la creativitat. A més rebreu un tracte i suport personalitzats, i si ho voleu, una introducció a l’entorn i en el cas de persones de fora de Catalunya ajuda individualitzada de comprensió lingüística.

La beca no inclou ni les despeses de viatges ni la manutenció, que corre a càrrec del becari, podent fer ús de la cuina.

Els residents s’han de fer càrrec del manteniment dels espais que habiten i de tirar les escombraries que generen als contenidors del poble. També són responsables de la neteja de l’espai que utilitzen i de les seves habitacions així com de la bugada personal i de la roba de l’habitació. Pel desenvolupament del projecte de treball els becaris han d’aportar els materials que necessiten ja que a la comarca no hi ha comerços gaire especialitzats.

Introduction to the literary writing
The art of constructing stories
Knowing the strategies and acquiring the basic techniques for constructing narrative texts and analyzing foreign and own texts critically.
Dates: April, 3th to 24th

Initiation to the italic handwriting
A Pleasure for your eyes
Directed course to the knowledge and execution of italic writing model.
Alternation of theory and practice, explanations and knowledge of the use and the preparation of the different materials as support (parchment, paper, stone, cloth), feathers, spirits, inks etc.
Dates:  May, 8th-9th and 15th-16th

Elaboration of craft paper|role
The pupil will learn all the process necessary for the manual elaboration of paper|role, from the preparation and elaboration of the pasta|paste|pastry until takes out simple or decorated leaves.

Engraving
Directed course to every person who it|he|she wants to experiment in the graphic|graphical world with the engraving.
The engraving about different supports: plastic, acetate, wood, iron, cardboards, brass...
Creation and manipulation of transfers in the Print.
Techniques: additive: application of carborundum, chalks|plasters, masilles, varnishes,
silicones, lacquers... calcogràfiques: dry tip, etching, aiguatinta, soft varnish, sugar, fat pencil, embossing...
Stamping in color and monochrome, staff|templates, collage, monotips, Roll-up.
Dates: the 12-13 and 19-20 June

COURSES OF SUMMER

Molds and new materials applied to the art, to|in the design and the scenography
We will work the silicones of nickel and of platinum, resins of polyester and polyurethane, rigid and elastic foam of polyurethane, the latex, the plasters of new generation and the fibres of glass and plants.

Sculpture in iron and corten steel (URSSA)
Practical course about the manipulation of the iron F6 and corten steel in the execution of sculptures and pieces of means formed for urban and decorative design.
Techniques: cut|slice of iron|sheet with plasma and oxitall, inverter welding and Half, torsionats, doubled and cold meats. Methods of work in the assembly of the work (threaded, anclatges, frontisses, axes|axles...). Advice about the machinery of work and systems of protection.

Painting and drawing
Workshop of experimentation of materials and procedures in the pictorial field.
Course personalized directed at knowing or deepening the practice of the drawing and the painting, independently of the level of the pupil.
Strategies in the elaboration of the artistic speech and analysis of the processes that they organize and they articulate the different stages that they composen the creative project.
Materials, procedures and pictorial techniques: pigments and agglutinating agents (spirit in|on the egg, in|on the cola|glue, the acrílics, the wax, the oil), mixed techniques, collage, frottage, decollage, grattage. Choice and preparation of the supports. The note of the natural one, the human body, the portrait.
The concepts of visual language, the perceptive organization, l?estructura of the plastic space, the proportion, the color. The weight of he|she|it chronicles it|her of the art and the interaction of the painting with other artistic disciplines.

Painting about silk
Introducing the multiple ones made possible of the stamping and the painting about fabric|tissue.
Creating a dynamics teòrico-pràctica of work that allows the pupil the research for the creation and to acquire the necessary technical skills.
They will be carried out a minimum of 8 pieces with silk or velvet in the form of foulard, pillow, necklace, etc works typical of each pupil.
Dates: of the 19th in the 23rd July and of the 26th in the 30th (both weeks)

Proposal of Rhythm and Movement
Movement: feeling the foot as regards earth|land, consciousness of the equilibrium, to combine and to coordinate sleep with hands and feet, vocal sleep, etc Rhythm with our body: BODY PERCUTION, rhythm with the ours feet: STEPS and STOMP., displacement and equilibrium.
Work of knowledge of the body itself|himself, of the equilibrium and of the rhythm.
Development of the sensitivity, the creativity and personal enrichment.
Dates: of the 19th in the 23rd July and of the 26th in the 30th (both weeks)

Duration: 15 hours, of Monday on Friday of 18 in 19:30h.
Price: 25 euros/session.

Pottery. MURALS
Study of execution of several volumes, low relay|relief and high relay|relief, textures made with several tools in refractory mud.
Global study with the insertion of color (enamels, oxides, etc, carbonates).
You hasten at high temperature and follow-up in charge of the teaching staff.
From the concept and the idea about l?alumne, the several processes will be developed to be for the realization of the mural.

Photography|Picture
We act and we speak about photography|picture
Teòrico-pràctic course, focused to the realization of pictures in every type of circumstances and back|posterior study and criticism. Like developing a photographic subject are portrait, landscape, report, inland|insides or requirements. Study of possibilities to compare the results with different environments. Learning to watch, to interpret the light, the prospects like the utilization of the optics, to appraise you frame them, the color or the white and black one. Solving different situations in practice.

Experimental Engraving
Directed course to|in the research in the world of the engraving matèric and calcogràfic. Study of methods of work, materials and tools. Course personalized according to level of the pupils.
Techniques: dry tip, Etching, soft varnish, sugar, aiguatinta, embossing, collagraph, carborundum. Supports for matrices: iron, copper, brass, plastics, cardboards, woods, etc Stamping: only evidence|tests, seriada work, overposition d?imatges, Bookings|Reservations, collages, creation and manipulation of images photocopied and transferred to the print.
*Justificació of edition. Talk in charge of Invisible Ink (professionals in the world of the graphic|graphical edition).

Binding (Book of Artist)
Between theoretical speech and manual work a book-project itself|himself that will represent, sculpture, installation or visual poetry, among book will be elaborated. They will be shown you modify techniques different of binding that they can represent like artistic language. By these techniques the pupils will develop its|his|her|their own project under the professional tuition.
